GirlsFirst at The Madeira School is a summer enrichment program for rising 7th-11th grade girls. It's a fabulous program built around a two-week session for both day and residential students.
GirlsFirst offers an immersive, but stress-free, academic environment that is hands-on and project-based. Girls choose from courses like Creative Writing, Forensic Science, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Acting, Veterinary Science and more! Each summer, GirlsFirst welcomes girls from a wonderful diversity of locations - across the country and internationally.
The directing staff comes from within the Madeira community, and our teachers and resident assistants bring a wealth of experience with them. Our teachers are young, energetic and experts in their field. Our RAs organize plenty of afternoon and evening activities, and all staff live in the dorms with the students. We learn, grow and have lots of fun!
Upon registration, girls choose one class for the entire two-week session. This summer 2010, our class choices are:

Equine Management
