Description:
GET INSIDE THE GAME! Teens 15-18 build a playable 3D game using 3ds Max and Unreal Engine 3. Learn skills used by the pros then choose your role on the development team----Graphic Designer, Level Designer, Audio Artist, Programmer. Learn from guest speakers and a game studio tour. Present your game to a panel of industry experts for critique and awards. Offered at Bentley University near Boston, Mercer University in Atlanta and Lake Forest College near Chicago. We help with transportation. It’s Worth the Trip!
The Benefits of Emagination Game Design
* Teens learn how video games are created in the $13 billion industry by experiencing the process first hand.
* Teens learn valuable creative and technical skills using industry standard game design software including 3ds Max.
* Teens experience teamwork, milestones and deadlines by selecting a role on a development team and working collaboratively to build a playable video game using a customized Design Document.
* Teens gain presentation skills as they present their game to a panel of game industry experts for review and critique.
* Teens see the pros in action on a tour of a game development studio.
* Teens learn about the industry and building video games from guest speakers.
