Days in Camp Gan Israel are filled with diverse,exciting recreational activities, such as sports, swimming, creative crafts, drama, Shabbat parties and Jewish themed programs. All activities are carefully chosen to instill a spirit of sportsmanship, self- confidence, leadership and creativity.
Gan Israel campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and love for the land of Israel. Campers are immersed in a Hebrew language program which is both fun and exciting. Hebrew language games and contests are part of the Gan Israel experience. Combined with group discussions and educational programs your child is sure to leave camp with an improved Hebrew vocabulary and an appreciation of the beauty and values of our tradition.
Gan Israel “Trip days” geared to the children's interest are scheduled twice a week and feature excursions to attractions such as Tiny Town, Fish 'n Farm, Golden Bowl, Denver Zoo and the Denver Children’s Museum. We will also be exploring the natural foothills environment here in Evergreen and learning all about it.
Our counselors are chosen for their warmth and ability to understand and care for each child as an individual. As positive role models, our counselors provide campers with an enriching summer experience, ensuring that each camper receives personal attention and guidance at all times.
