Description:

MBSC Nike Lacrosse Camp invites lacrosse players of all levels to improve their game!  An intensive lacrosse program, we attract those campers who are dedicated to learn!

Camper Benefits:  5 to 6 hours of Lacrosse Instruction per day.   Boys and Girls Lacrosse are offered as separate programs.  Instruction includes (but is not limited to):

2. Dodging
3. Ground Balls
4. Fast Breaks
5. Receiving and Passing
6. Cutting
7. Stick Skills
8. Clears
9. Face-Off
10. Wing Play
11. Offensive and Defensive Fundamentals

Head Pro:  Lead Instructor is Bill Daye, the Head Coach of the Boston Cannons. Coach Daye was an All-American and National Champion at the University of North Carolina. As a professional player for the Cannons he was awarded MVP of his team and voted to the MLL All-Star team in 2001. With coaching stints at UNC, Hopkins, and Boston College, 2009 marks Daye’s 4th season as the Cannon’s Head Coach. He is currently a Team Representative for Lacrosse Unlimited.

Parent Benefits:  As the owners are parents themselves, they understand the importance of supervision and security at camp.  MBSC owners, Mehdi and Maria Belhassan reside on campus with the campers and staff and require extensive criminal and sexual offender background checks on all employees.

Double Supervision:  Most camps only hire 1 group of staff... and therefore the coaches are also the counselors.  MB Sports Camps hires 2 separate staff: coaches AND counselors.  This ensures that the staff members are not overly tierd and are able to adequately supervise your children. Also, the coaches are able to give 100% on the lacrosse field every day!

Field Trips:  MBSC is one of the only camps that offers OFF-CAMPUS, organized field trips on a nightly basis.  Some of the activities are: Baseball Games, MLS Soccer Games, Lazer Tag, Water Country, 6 Flags, Bowling, Whale Watch, Trips to Downtown Boston, Quincy Market, Boston Duck Tours, Blue Man Group Shows and much more!

Multiple Sports:

MBSC is an intensive sports training camp with 6 sports in 1 location.  Many campers who play multiple sports enjoy mixing sports during their stay.  While campers must play 1 sport per week, during multiple weeks they can choose to play: Golf, Soccer, Tennis, Lacrosse Softball, and Volleyball!

The NIKE Factor:

Even though MB NIKE Sports Camps has an 80% camper return rate, we still felt that we could do better!  We have accomplished this by joining forces with NIKE Lacrosse CAMPS (US SPORTS CAMPS). 

NIKE is not just any other brand… NIKE is a whole way of thinking.  NIKE Lacrosse Camps set the bar high when it comes to all aspects of camp: from teaching methods & hiring staff to the registration process and check in procedures.  Being a part of NIKE Lacrosse Camps gives us the opportunity to meet with other Lacrosse Camp Directors and bring together innovative ideas on how to make our camp #1!

MB Sports Camps offers campers a well rounded, safe summer camp experience.  While provided with every opportunity to improve their lacrosse game, they will also be having fun and creating memories that will last a lifetime!
