Description:

The premier Illinois tennis camp: Fighting Illini Junior Tennis Camps’ primary goal is to present a comprehensive and systematic approach to tennis stroke technique and strategy in a fun and challenging environment. Each camper is given the information and drills necessary to improve and move toward achievement of their tennis goals. Campers are grouped by ability which allows each player to receive coaching and drilling that are relevant to their skill level and provides an appropriate challenge during competition.

Each camper’s groundstrokes and serve will be videotaped and analyzed by the camp director to provide the player with individualized feedback. A written evaluation with comments based on the video analysis is given to the player at the conclusion of the camp to set a path for their continued development. Another highlight of the camp is the weekly team tennis competition which gives campers the opportunity to compete against various players of similar abilities while supporting and working with other players to achieve the team tennis title.
