Description:
This fall and winter c'est si bon! is cooking up a
storm! From brand new piping hot week-long camps to teacher
workd days we encourage you to find yourself at home in c'est si
bon!'s kitchen, bakeshop, autumn garden and everything in
between. Kid-Chefs
is one segment of C’est Si Bon! Cooking School located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Owner with her husband, Rich Snover, Dorette graduated from the
Culinary Institute of America in 1983. Devoted to teaching technique
rather than strictly recipes, we believe that cooking brings us closer to the
heart!
Since 1997
Dorette’s passion has been teaching kid-chefs. Past camps have included
the basics of American, French, Italian, and Asian cooking. Dorette has taught
in France
and Italy
as well. Dorette’s culinary pieces have appeared in Fine Cooking and on NPR.
She has appeared on Food TV and PBS. She can be found teaching le fond de
cuisine at the Carrboro Farmer’s Market and, bien sur, in her
cooking school, C’est si Bon!
Dorette also leads tours to Paris,
Provence and
Tuscany for teens
and adults interested in exploring the world through a culinary map. Between
baking calzones in her wood fired oven, Dorette writes fiction.
