Autism Quest -The Kinark Outdoor Centre facilitates supported recreational experiences on weekends and in the summer for children and youth ages 9-15 with high functioning Autism and Aspergers Syndrome. The program utilizes a one to one staff ratio.
Quest - The Kinark Outdoor Centre offers supported recreational experiences for children and youth ages 8-16 who are unable to attend a mainstream camp due to significant behavioral needs. The program features a professional counseling team, adapted and highly structured programming and a strength based approach
.Family Programs - During the spring, summer and fall the Centre hosts supported weekend social-recreation-respite programs for small groups of families who have children with Autism.
Eco-Program - our newly built Eco-Classroom is being integrated into all of many programs, teaching children about the importance of sustainable living, as well holding a purely environmentally based day camp for children of all ages and needs.
